About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender & RFP Intern to support our procurement and sourcing activities. The intern will assist in identifying suppliers, managing requests for proposals (RFPs), coordinating supplier communications, and organizing tender documentation. This role is ideal for someone interested in procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, or business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor tender portals and identify relevant procurement opportunities.
Verify supplier certifications and compliance documents (ISO, CE, FDA, etc.).
Support the preparation of tender submission packages.
Support the preparation and distribution of Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Research and identify potential suppliers across multiple categories.
Build and maintain supplier databases and contact lists.
Coordinate supplier communications and follow up on outstanding responses.
Track tender timelines, milestones, and submission deadlines.
Collect, organize, and review supplier documentation for completeness.
Assist in evaluating supplier proposals using predefined evaluation criteria.
Prepare comparison spreadsheets, pricing analyses, and summary reports.
Maintain accurate procurement records and document repositories.
Support contract onboarding and supplier qualification activities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical and commercial requirements.
Assist with continuous improvement of procurement processes and templates.
Preferred Qualifications
B2/C1 level of written and spoken English.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable communicating professionally with external suppliers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT) is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with procurement, tendering, or sourcing processes.
Experience using spreadsheets for data analysis.
Knowledge of ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
